Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1: Work 3rd-5th Stitches on LH Needle
Insert the right-hand needle purlwise into the front of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th stitches on the left-hand needle.
Step 2: Drop stitches
Drop the five stitches off the left-hand needle.
Step 3: Pick up loose stitches
Insert the left-hand needle into the two loose stitches to pick them up.
Step 4: Slip stitches back
Insert the left-hand needle into the three stitches on the right-hand needle from left to right, and slip them back onto the left-hand needle.
