Diamond Trellis Lace Blanket // Free pattern
  • Needles: US 6 - 4.0 mm.
  • worsted Yarn:  400g, 900m.
  • Finished Measurements: Approx. 31”x 44”.
  • ABBREVIATIONS
    RS, WS: right side, wrong side.
    K: knit.
    P: purl.
    Yo: yarn over.
    K2tog: knit 2 together.
    Ssk: slip slip knit.

    How to make the Wrap 5 stitches:

    Step 1: Insert the right needle from front to back between 5th and 6th stitches on the left needle.
    Step 2: Wrap the working yarn counter clockwise around the right needle. 
    Step 3: Draw through a loop.
    Step 4: Insert the tip of the left needle into the loop from left to right, keep it in front.
    Step 5: Wrap the working yarn counter clockwise around the right needle.
    Step 6: Pull the yarn through the loop to create a new stitch.
    Step 7: Knit 5.
    Step 8: Use the tip of left needle to lift up 6th stitch on the right needle. Pass the stitch over 5  stitches you just knitted and drop it off the right needle.
