The Knit Purl Repeats 03 shifts between the motifs of the Diamond and Triangle stitches.
This means one section of the fabric features the diamond motifs of the Diamond stitch, followed by a section with the triangle motifs of the Triangle stitch, and then alternating between them throughout.
Pattern Instructions
Worked Flat
Cast on a multiple of 8 stitches plus 1, such as 25, 33, etc
Knit the Diamond stitch pattern to your desired length, then transition to the Triangle stitch pattern. Feel free to alternate between both patterns as you desire. You may choose to vary the lengths of each section for greater visual interest, or maintain a consistent length throughout the project for a more uniform appearance.
Part 1: Diamond stitch pattern
- Row 1 (Right side): *Purl 1, knit 7; work from * to last stitch, purl 1.
- Row 2 (Wrong side): *Purl 1, knit 1, purl 5, knit 1; work from * to last stitch, purl 1.
- Row 3: *Knit 2, purl 1, knit 3, purl 1, knit 1; work from * to last stitch, knit 1.
- Row 4: *Purl 3, knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, purl 2; work from * to last stitch, purl 1.
- Row 5: *Knit 4, purl 1, knit 3; work from * to last stitch, knit 1.
- Row 6: *Purl 3, knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, purl 2; work from * to last stitch, purl 1.
- Row 7: *Knit 2, purl 1, knit 3, purl 1, knit 1; work from * to last stitch, knit 1.
