Cast on 38 stitches

Rows 1–4: Knit.

Main Pattern

  • Row 5: Knit.
  • Row 6: Knit 3, purl 3, * yarn over, purl 2, pass yarn over over purl 2, purl 2; repeat from * to last 4 stitches, purl 1, knit 3.
  • Row 7: Knit.
  • Row 8: Knit 3, purl 1, * yarn over, purl 2, pass yarn over over purl 2, purl 2; repeat from * to last 6 stitches, yarn over, purl 2, pass yarn over over purl 2, purl 1, knit 3.

Repeat Rows 5 – 8 until you reach the desired length, then continue with Rows 9–12.

Rows 9-12: Knit.

Finally, bind off, weave in all ends, and block as desired.
