Cast on 39 stitches

Rows 1-5: Knit.

Row 6: K3, purl to last 3 sts, k3.

Main Pattern

  • Row 7: Knit 4, *slip 1 wyib, knit 3, repeat from * to last 3 stitches, knit 3.
  • Row 8: Knit 3, purl 3, *slip 1 wyif, purl 3, repeat from * to last 5 stitches, slip 1 wyif, purl 1, knit 3.
  • Row 9: Knit 4, *1/2 LC, knit 1, repeat from * to last 3 stitches, knit 3.
  • Row 10: Knit 3, purl to last 3 stitches, knit 3.
  • Row 11: Knit 8, *slip 1 wyib, knit 3, repeat from * to last 3 stitches, knit 3.
  • Row 12: Knit 3, purl 3, *slip 1 wyif, purl 3, repeat from * to last 5 stitches, purl 2, knit 3.
  • Row 13: Knit 6, *1/2 RC, knit 1, repeat from * to last 5 stitches, knit 5.
  • Row 14: Knit 3, purl to last 3 stitches, knit 3.

Repeat rows 7-14 until you reach the desired length.

Afterwards, proceed to knit 4 rows Garter stitch for the border.

Finally, bind off, weave in all ends, and block as desired.
