Row 5: Knit.

Row 6: Knit 3, purl to last 3 stitches, knit 3.

  • Row 7: Knit.
  • Row 8: Knit 3, purl to last 3 stitches, knit 3.
  • Row 9: Knit.
  • Row 10: Knit 3, purl to last 3 stitches, knit 3.
  • Row 11: Knit 6, *knit 4 below, knit 3; repeat from * to last 3 stitches, knit 3.
  • Row 12: Knit 3, purl to last 3 stitches, knit 3.
  • Row 13: Knit.
  • Row 14: Knit 3, purl to last 3 stitches, knit 3.
  • Row 15: Knit.
  • Row 16: Knit 3, purl to last 3 stitches, knit 3.
  • Row 17: Knit 4, *knit 4 below, knit 3; repeat from * to last stitch, knit 1.
  • Row 18: Knit 3, purl to last 3 stitches, knit 3.

Repeat Rows 7 – 18 until desired length, ending on Row 12 or 18.

Then knit 4 rows Garter stitch for border.

Finally, bind off, weave in all ends, and block as desired.
