- Knit (K) Purl (P) Slip (SL) Right side: WYIB Wrong side: WYIF

Multiple of 5 stitches plus 2

Row 1 (Right side): Color A, k5, *sl1, k4; rep from * to last 2 sts, sl1, k1.
Row 2 and wrong side rows: With same color used on previous row, knit the purl stitches and slip the slipped stitches as they face you.
Row 3: Color B, k4, *sl1, k4; rep from * to last 3 sts, sl1, k2.
Row 5: Color A, k3, *sl1, k4; rep from * to last 4 sts, sl1, k3.
Row 7: Color B, k2, *sl1, k4; rep from * to end.
Row 9: Color A, k1, *sl1, k4; rep from * to last st, k1.
Row 11: Color B, k5, *sl1, k4; rep from * to last 2 sts, sl1, k1.
Row 13: Color A, k4, *sl1, k4; rep from * to last 3 sts, sl1, k2.
Row 15: Color B, k3, *sl1, k4; rep from * to last 4 sts, sl1, k3.
Row 17: Color A, k2, *sl1, k4; rep from * to end.
Row 19: Color B, k1, *sl1, k4; rep from * to last st, k1.
